Terms & Conditions Effective
October 8, 2026
Welcome to Affinity Matchmaking. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Affinity Matchmaking website, participation in the Affinity Singles Database, communications with Affinity, and use of Affinity’s matchmaking and introduction services. By using our website, submitting information to Affinity, or participating in our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Affinity Matchmaking
Affinity Matchmaking (“Affinity,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a private singles database, personalized matchmaking services, potential-match introductions, relationship-related resources, and other services designed to help relationship-minded adults make meaningful connections.
Affinity is not a dating application and does not provide unrestricted access to profiles of other database members or clients.
2. Eligibility
To participate in the Affinity Singles Database or matchmaking services, you must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter into agreements, and genuinely single and unattached.
By providing information to Affinity, you represent that the information you provide is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
You are responsible for notifying Affinity if your relationship status, availability, contact information, or other material information changes.
Affinity reserves the right to decline, suspend, deactivate, or discontinue participation by any individual when Affinity determines, in its discretion, that participation is inappropriate, information appears inaccurate or misleading, eligibility requirements are not met, or conduct is inconsistent with the standards of the Affinity community.
3. The Affinity Singles Database
Joining the Affinity Singles Database is free.
Database participation allows Affinity to consider you when evaluating potential connections. Joining the database does not mean Affinity is actively searching for a partner on your behalf.
Affinity does not guarantee that a database participant will be contacted, considered for a particular person, receive an introduction, go on a date, or enter into a relationship.
Database information may remain active until you request removal or Affinity chooses to remove or deactivate your profile. You are responsible for notifying Affinity when you no longer wish to participate or are no longer single and available.
You may request removal from active database consideration at any time by contacting info@affinitymatchmaking.com.
4. Potential Matches and Introductions
Affinity may contact you if we identify someone we believe could be a potential match.
Before an introduction, Affinity may request additional information, updated photographs, a conversation, or other reasonable information to evaluate the potential connection and confirm your continued interest and availability.
Affinity may provide limited or non-identifying information about a potential match before determining whether there is mutual interest.
An introduction will proceed only when Affinity determines it is appropriate and the individuals involved agree to proceed.
An Affinity introduction is an opportunity to meet another person—not a representation or guarantee of compatibility, chemistry, safety, character, future dates, exclusivity, or relationship success.
Each individual remains solely responsible for deciding whether to communicate with, meet, date, or pursue a relationship with another person.
5. Private and Concierge Matchmaking
Affinity may offer paid matchmaking services for individuals who want Affinity to actively search for potential partners on their behalf.
Paid matchmaking is separate from participation in the free Affinity Singles Database.
Depending on the service selected, matchmaking may include personalized consultation, development of match criteria, review of the Affinity Singles Database, identification and vetting of potential matches, recruitment outside the existing Affinity network, facilitated introductions, feedback, coaching, or other services described in the applicable client agreement.
The specific scope, duration, fees, and terms of a paid matchmaking engagement will be provided to the client before services begin and will be governed by a separate matchmaking client agreement.
6. No Guarantee of Matches or Relationship Outcomes
Matchmaking involves human judgment, personal preferences, availability, attraction, timing, and the independent decisions of other individuals.
Affinity cannot and does not guarantee a specific number of compatible candidates unless expressly stated in a written client agreement. Affinity also does not guarantee that any particular person will agree to an introduction, that an introduction will result in a date, or that any introduction will result in a relationship.
Affinity’s role is to thoughtfully identify and facilitate opportunities for connection. The decision to pursue any connection remains entirely with the individuals involved.
7. Fees and Payment
Fees for paid matchmaking services will be disclosed before a client enters into a paid engagement with Affinity.
Payment terms, service duration, included services, renewal provisions, and any other financial obligations will be stated in the applicable client agreement.
Affinity may use third-party payment processors to collect payments. Use of those services may also be subject to the payment provider’s terms and privacy practices.
Participation in the free Affinity Singles Database does not, by itself, create an obligation to purchase matchmaking services.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund rights for paid matchmaking services will be governed by the applicable client agreement and Affinity’s Refund & Cancellation Policy, subject to any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
Digital products, including Unmixed Signals guides or other downloadable materials, may be subject to separate purchase and refund terms presented through the platform from which the product is purchased.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited or waived.
9. Member and Client Conduct
Individuals interacting with Affinity, its clients, database members, matchmakers, or potential matches are expected to communicate honestly and behave respectfully.
You agree not to knowingly provide false or misleading information; impersonate another person; misrepresent your relationship status or intentions; harass, threaten, exploit, or abuse another individual; use Affinity to solicit business, money, investments, or other commercial opportunities; or use information obtained through Affinity for an unauthorized purpose.
Affinity reserves the right to discontinue communication, decline an introduction, terminate services, or remove an individual from the Singles Database when conduct raises concerns about honesty, safety, appropriateness, or compatibility with Affinity’s standards.
10. Privacy and Confidentiality Between Participants
Information shared with you about another Affinity client, database member, or potential match is intended solely for evaluating or pursuing the potential personal connection.
You agree to respect the privacy of individuals introduced through Affinity and not knowingly publish, distribute, sell, exploit, or use another participant’s private information, photographs, communications, or contact information for an unrelated purpose without permission.
Affinity cannot control or guarantee the conduct of another individual after information has been shared with appropriate consent. Participants should use discretion when deciding what personal information to disclose directly to another person.
11. Vetting and Background Information
Affinity may use interviews, publicly available information, third-party resources, background screening, identity verification, references, or other methods of vetting when Affinity considers them appropriate.
The extent of vetting may vary depending on the individual, circumstances, and matchmaking service involved.
Affinity does not represent or guarantee that every database member, client, or potential match has undergone the same screening process or a comprehensive background check.
No screening method can guarantee that information supplied by another person is complete, current, or accurate, nor can screening predict future behavior.
12. Dating Safety and Personal Responsibility
Every participant is responsible for making their own decisions regarding communication, meetings, dating, travel, intimacy, financial interactions, and relationships with another person.
Affinity encourages individuals to use reasonable precautions, including meeting initially in public places, maintaining control of their own transportation, protecting sensitive personal and financial information, and informing a trusted person of meeting plans when appropriate.
Never send money or provide financial assistance to someone solely because you met them through Affinity.
Affinity’s involvement in an introduction does not replace your own judgment or responsibility for your personal safety.
Additional recommendations are provided in Affinity’s Dating Safety Guidelines.
13. Intellectual Property
The Affinity Matchmaking name, branding, website content, written materials, matchmaking processes, questionnaires, guides, graphics, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Affinity Matchmaking and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, modify, or commercially use Affinity materials without prior written permission, except for ordinary personal use of materials provided to you as part of a service you purchased.
14. Third-Party Services and Links
Affinity may use or provide links to third-party platforms for scheduling, payments, forms, digital products, communications, social media, or other business functions.
Affinity does not control and is not responsible for the availability, security, content, policies, or practices of third-party services. Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies.
15. Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Affinity is not responsible for the independent actions, statements, omissions, decisions, conduct, or behavior of clients, database members, potential matches, or other third parties.
Affinity does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy of all information supplied by another individual, the suitability of any particular match, or the outcome of an introduction or relationship.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Any dispute relating to Affinity’s paid matchmaking services may also be subject to dispute-resolution provisions contained in the applicable client agreement.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to prevent a consumer from exercising rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.
17. Changes to These Terms
Affinity may update these Terms & Conditions as its services, business practices, or legal requirements evolve.
The current version will be posted on the Affinity website with an updated effective date. Continued use of the website or Affinity services after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
